River Valley is blessed to have you.

Hello RV Elementary Families,
It is time for our RV Elementary Fall Fundraiser! We are once again raising money for a new playground surface for under our large playground equipment. Students in grades preschool through 5th grade will be bringing home packets tonight. See the poster below for more information, or feel free to call the elementary office with any questions.
Thank you in advance for your help in raising some money for our playground.

The RV fifth grade was invited by our HS FFA to learn a little farming yesterday. They learned about soybeans and how they are present in so many of the products that we use. In addition, they learned about the different parts of a soybean plant, how many bushels are in an acre, and the importance of safety during harvest season. They even got to take a ride in the combine and help harvest some soybeans!
Thanks a bunch to Ms. Gibson and the HS FFA students for including the elementary in some awesome agricultural learning.

Attention River Valley Parents,
Thursday, October 3rd is "Picture Retake" Day. If you didn't like the first attempt, here is another chance:). An email will also be sent out that includes a link to order or reorder. If you plan to retakes, please return your old packets to each school's office.

This morning RV Elementary kicked off October with style. We always get things started with some great music the students sing along with (I'm Still Standing). We also have a presentation by some of our teachers on the KDT word of the month. This month's word was, "Honesty" , and our preschool teachers (Ms. Skye & and Ms. Jamie) did a great job. We also celebrate our student's success with Students of the Month (They will have "Pizza with the Principal"), birthdays (birthday pencil), and KDT drawing winners (lots of great coupons to choose from). We end our morning lift-off with a couple of "Jokes of the Day". A super fun way to start our day and month!!

Updated Schedule
