8th graders doing a great lab today during science class learning about how light travels.
River Family Families-
At River Valley, student safety is a priority and with that in mind and in compliance to new state legislation to have at least one safety drill a year, we will be conducting a district wide safety drill on Fri., Nov. 22. Students will be practicing what to do in the event of an intruder in the building. An intruder can be anyone or anything that poses a potential danger to students or staff. This may be a person, a wild animal, or even an accident that would make it safest for students and staff to remain with their class rather than exiting the room for any given reason.
We have invited local law enforcement to visit our schools during these drills to help provide us with feedback on our process and procedures.
As always, if you have any questions please contact your child's school.
Sincerely,
River Valley Administration
