In this spotlight we will recognize Mrs. Shantel Mozer. She celebrates her birthday on April 2nd. Her family consists of her husband, Jarod. They also have a cat, Mocha to round out their family.
She earned her Undergrad at the University of Northern Iowa and her Masters at Morningside College. She is in her 9th year of teaching. She teaches Reading, Math and Social Studies to the 3rd grade students. She believes her students would be surprised to find out that she pursued a career in acting and auditioned for 20th Century Fox.
Her favorite thing to do for fun is sleep, Haha!!! and travel.
Some of her favorites are:
- The color black because it's the color that she wears the most.
- Food is ice cream because it's amazing.
- Book is "Harry Potter Series" because it is some of the best writing and truly takes you to a new world.
- Movie is "Gone With The Wind" because it is a great depiction of the Civil War, some of the best acting EVER and Clark Gable!
- Song is "Ice, Ice Baby" because it has a really great beat and gets her dancing.
- Sport is watching football because it's the most fun to watch and to play is golf because she can drive the cart.
- Sports team is the Iowa Hawkeyes because she lives in the Hawkeye state.
Her best thing about teaching is passing on her passion for learning.
She shared, "Some of these answers were filtered so they would be appropriate for children."
