In this spotlight we will recognize the Junior High Boys Basketball team who is coached by Dean Norris.
The team consists of 13 players:
- Gage Berning - 7th grade
- Collin VanHouten - 7th grade
- Gavin Trapp - 7th grade
- Wyatt Huisinga - 7th grade
- Remee Williams - 7th grade
- Cashius Ransford - 7th grade
- Colton Edwards - 7th grade
- Brady Cockburn - 7th grade
- Adlyr Redenius - 7th grade
- Cory Jepsen - 8th grade
- Keegan Volkert - 8th grade
- Brodyn Goettsch - 8th grade
- Corbin Krager - 8th grade
Coach Norris believes that the boys are a hard working group that really hustles, good listeners that want to be better and are a very coachable group of kids is what makes the team successful.
The team has fun by really getting along well. Some advantages of being on his team are that they have good team chemistry and are willing to work and share the ball.
Coach Norris is proud of the kids for the effort they give every day in practice. A team achievement is that both 7th and 8th grade teams won the season opener by 20 points but now has been suspended at this point due to Covid.
