River Valley is implementing Marzano's High Reliability Schools Instructional Framework as a school initiative. Characteristics of a High Reliability School (HRS)include: 1. Continually in pursuit of error free performance. 2. Implement structures and systems to monitor and identify errors in their operation 3. Take immediate action to prevent errors from becoming system wide failures 4. Work toward a common, ultimate goal.
The HRS framework has five levels. The first level is establishing a Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Learning Environment. We have been focusing on level one and and an indicator of a level 1 school is that it provides staff, students, and parents formal ways to offer opinions and suggestions for how the school could run better.
Please use this form to offer suggestions to us on how we can improve. This fits our vision of the Wolverine Way: Kind Determined Together. We want to work TOGETHER to improve our school. The administrative team will discuss these at our admin meeting and share information back to the public through our different communication media. We are DETERMINED to make River Valley the best it can be.
