From Coach Dreckman:
I just wanted to thank all those who supported our track fundraiser to raise money for the arthritis foundation. On April 1st, the members of the boys and girls' track teams ran for an hour to see how many laps they could complete. Unfortunately, one of the girls was sick and one of the guys were injured. (he did walk laps) During this hour, the group completed 450 laps, or 112.50 miles. That was an average of 5 1/3 miles each!! But the best part was the money that was raised. I don't have an exact total yet, but as of now it is a little over a thousand dollars. Thank you all for your donations! We are River Valley!
